Media X: Subversive Revolution is a compilation of video art that engages with, responds to, and sparks conversation about the infrastructures of the contemporary art world. The works included share and exchange opinions about issues relating to the inner workings of the arts scene including administration, curatorial practices, artist life, organizational identity, and the uncanny ability that administrators within the arts have for laughing at themselves.

The White Water Gallery will host the final screening of Media X: Subversive Revolution on February 14th at 8:30 pm. The two previous screenings were held in Toronto at gallerywest on November 9th and in Winnipeg at Video Pool on January 23rd.
This event is open to the public and refreshments will be served following the screening.

NOTICE: WWG hours of operations will be 11am – 4:30pm at 143 Main St. W. during the Banner Auction which ends on Oct 23rd. During this time out 122 Main St. E. location will have limited hours running from 11am – 3pm. Once the Banner show is finished, hours will return to normal at the 122 Main St. E. location and the 143 Main St. W. location will be closed.
