Relocating from the crowded and cramped environment of Bangkok Thailand to the calm spacious woods of Trout Lake I find myself very inspired to create this artwork. Taking many walks through the trails on the peninsula where I live, I see each tree without leaves as a unique form with a personality of its own. I am struck by the beauty of civilization and nature coexisting so harmoniously here in North Bay. I love how the buildings do not take over the view of the sky and trees grow around and with the population here. This piece is a simplified view of my thoughts about my new home, Canada.
Starting a new life in Canada with my wife and our soon to arrive daughter in March 2012 I have the time, support and passion to start creating again. My aspirations for the future is to one day have my own solo exhibition and continue to produce quality art and contribute to the community of North Bay. I want to known here as a lifelong artist.
