Ember Windatt. What Death Looks Like. 2011.
ink and pencil on paper. 8 x 10 in.
My current works in drawing all contribute towards a developing series of “dark” imagery. I take pleasure in working with imagery of suffering, death and violence as it gets an interesting reaction from my audience. I enjoy working in the macabre to see the reactions it gets from people when they realize this was created by a young girl trying to be creepy. I hope that my emerging work will help me develop a style to perfect as I am working towards a future as a professional artist.
